    so how much elevation do you have available from zero with that scope/rifle setup at the moment . . . . wondering how far you can dial up and shoot

    Might take a couple of days for a reply Rossi, it's not that he's ignoring you just he's heading into the Rangitata and may or may not get a chance before.

    Very topical. Dropped in at the Sister-In-Laws and they had a 22 projectile that had just been removed from the cats tail. My pick by the flat spot on one edge of the base and the good mushroom on the front is that the it had gone through a rabbit ricocheted and lodged in the cat who was stalking the same rabbit.

    This is the exact reason I've dropped some additional dollars on the CCI Subsonic segmented rounds. The segments don't fly too far / well, after hitting something compared to a 40gn lump of lead.

    I think I have enough to get to 320 meters - I haven't tested it that far yet though. I don't know how accuracy will be at that range.

    You'd have to try shooting targets floating on a millpond just to see the hits.

    The CCI don't shoot as well as the Winchester unfortunately
