Looks like you have a good trip and even better weather.
Have thought for years that one of those vans with 4wd would be an excellent allrounder.

cheers, weather was epic, bit of rain from Greymouth to Haast, rest pretty much 25-30 degree sunshine, other than early morning cloud around Manapouri. was still swimming in the Wairau river a couple of hours before catching the puddle jumper back to Welly :thumbsup:
better half loved the old wood stove in the cabin at Gunns, and wants to go back late winter for a couple of days, will take the rifle with and go for a wander up the Hollyford road end.
Barefoot, yup - less than 10l / 100km, comfy to sleep in. 4wd version would be the bees knees - then you can try the hydro road up from Hamner :D
