    As much as your comment might invite some dissent Neckshot, I agree.
    It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
    What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
    Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
    Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
    Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
    Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
    Rule 5: Check your firing zone
    Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
    Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms

    I assume your AR doesn't have a bolt assist on it, otherwise you could have pushed on that to seat the bolt.

    Yep it does I pushed on it, but as a complete AR rookie, apparently not hard enough.

    The joys of having very little time to completely familiarise myself with it........

    That is a mission for the weekend

    Sounds like a fun weekend ahead for you KG. Are you taking VC for a play as well?

    Not sure, I have plenty (far too much) of my primary job to do this weekend

    Will have to try very hard not to get sidetracked......

    Will be going up the range sometime to sight in the Blackout & a reporter is coming to see me about doing a piece on Terminator Products in a local paper thingy tomorrow.

    Just need to get some real work done somehow

    The Blackout is growing nicely in popularity
    Have you thought of a brass bag? Not very tacticool but functional. Saves trying to keep an eye all your once or twice fired brass and concentrate on the shooting side of things

    Not going to lose any sleep over a few bits of brass while I hunting, it isn't like it is Cheytac brass
