First deer with the new scope.

A little while ago I brought a March Scope off the forum here.

I had taken a little while to get it up and running as I had also run out of my previous load for my .284. So i mounted the scope, but then it took a bit of time to develop the new load. This trip I ducked up into a new area to try my luck. i had been there the week before But had no luck despite seeing some animals. So I left home at 2am to try my luck...and this was the result.... And yes I know it was a bad shot!!

    Great stuff Kudu
Doing the hard yards of real north island hunting. That area holds a few as you found out and some of the bush can be quite a challenge. Good to see the 284 knocking them over, what is your new load? I am about to start finding a new load for my 284 as I have almost run out of projectiles, but have discovered a treasure of projectiles in my cupboard from over the years so is making reloading a real interest at the moment.

    Regards

All the animals look to be carrying very good condition, must be some good tucker around
