    Got Him!!!!

I posted a couple a weeks ago about a close encounter that I had with a big red stag. Well this weekend I went back and although I didn't find him I got on to his mate!
18 points, 16 matching, 40" main beams, 25" spread, one broken bez but none of that means a thing. Years of hard hunting, blood, sweat and tears has finally paid off with a once in a lifetime animal.
Big thanks to HartHunter2 who was with me every step of the way, including his lucky GWP pup who scored on his first hunt!

300 Win Mag using handloaded 180gn TTSX Barnes projectiles through a VX-r 4-12x50mm

I'm not going to put up a story because I'm sending it in to wild deer so keep an eye out for that!

Nice work boys, nothing quite like getting something you have been chasing for a while.
