AWESOME stuff.Tilly looks pleased as punch too....now that was 3 shots for 3 very dead deer,2 buy young fella and 1 buy experienced fella...no wonder Tilly is impressed, probably thinking,if the boy comes along more often I mightnt have to track down and scrag them anymore....LOL.
Enjoy the vennison and give that dog a pat.
well done young fella

Well done to you both quality time spent there, think I have seen that young fella in some of your earlier vids Maungaroa block ???? long may it continue:)

Great stuff, Awesome, memories forever.
I enjoyed reading about it, I can only imagine how much fun it was for your grandson. Love your posts:thumbsup:
James has reliably informed me that the first pic in the story is him with the deer I shot, not with the 2nd deer he shot.
So to put the record straight, here is the 2nd deer that James shot with the 7-08 at approx 250 yards:

thats primo!
Fantastic read.
Nothing beats sharing hunting with younger people. Ild imagine even more so with your own children / grandchildren
Loved the yarn.
Fantastic! Memory's never forgotten right there:thumbsup: .
Hopefully my Dad and my Son get up to something similar in the next couple of days.
Well done grandad, I hope the lad isnt the last generation of hunters and he will be able to take his kids and grandkids out and do the same one day.
