Hunting in the Sun..... A sequel to last week's Hunting in the Rain.

Well since I saw a few deer around n that video from last week where I was hunting in the rain, I thought it would be rude not to head back this week and have another crack. This time though it was stinking bloody hot!!

Where is your mustering stick? The rifle still has the 'racing stripes' but no stick.

Hi. The range was 280 yards. I was pretty confident of the shot though as I had been to the range a couple of days earlier to check a new load. This is the results below.....
The squares are a little over 2cm in size and this was shot at a 200m (225 yard) range. So my last 2 shots,(8 & 9) were pretty much bang on. So I knew I wouldn't be far off...

She looks like a bit of a jungle there but the deer are there, lucky to find it in the scrub alright. Good job done.

Nice mate always enjoy your videos.
Just a tip that I use now is get a GPS with sight and go range the deer or last place it was seen lock the direction and enter the distance it’s really easy and will put you with in 5 m most of the time it saves a lot of mucking around and the wondering if you hit it or missed or if this is even the spot the deer was . It’s never let me down .

If it does learn how to use it it’s easy and very effective.
