Nice open country!
Well at least the grizzlies would all be hibernating
NUTS!
all that for just a goat, fuck that
Epic hunt. If that was coastal the inland stuff must be near impossible that time of year.
Pretty sure they're the most expensive hunt in that part of the world as well.

Hard case those lads. Tough as, and a bit mad. Bloody good film, thanks for posting.

its not often i feel such pleasure in watching someone elses hunt / journey . . . epic trip and great examples of hardboys / hunters
cheers for that . . . R
Yeah great watch, would love to do this. Tough hunting
Fuck a young mans hunt that one, awesome part of the globe though, great stuff good on them, good watch thanks @stug
At least they don't use a chopper to corner the goat in an easy shooting spot. That type of hunting is probably forbidden over there anyway.
man that looked like hard work good hard boys
Wow, having just come out of the molesworth with 60 odd cm of snow and driving... (love my heater) and glassing the tops of the hills those boys such are pushing the limits of gear body and mind. Good on them
Guess this shows what guides do in the off season, waiting for your video to match it @R93

@kiwijames will have some photos from his Thar trip with me that would rival the snow and cold[emoji16]
I don't think I will be hunting those goats thank fuck.
Stone sheep are in similar country I think. I am looking forward to chasing them.
I have 4 64gb cards that I will try to fill up with pics and footage.
But I might need someone to edit them for me when I get back. I haven't a clue how to do that stuff.

Isn’t it all about the journey which starts with the planning and prep? Shooting something is a bonus if all the what’s and if’s fall into place
There was ice on my beard just watching that. Bloody cold country and tough terrain to hoof it through.
So I take it you have cold ankles then @Rushy :O_O::XD:
Heard that a lot of these trophies take a plunge off a bluff when shot and there horns are easily snapped:O_O:
Cool video though. But for me a Dall ram would be on the list along with Moose, White Tail, Wapiti, Kodiak beer maybe? Out Mule deer? Feck it why not a big ass Caribou:D
Then it would be on to Africa for some Black Death!!!:O_O::thumbsup: traditional done in the thick! A Kudu, Sitatunga then back for another Cape Buff:thumbsup: Why not ah;)
I've walked in close on a big A big bull elephant in Tanzania in the Mkomazi-Umba game reserve tusks went around 90 each side. That was pretty amazing. We must have been with in 60meters of him and his two mates. To get in that next 30:O_O: the guy who took me said only if he was going to shoot him. Got plenty close in vehicles but it's just not the same as on foot.
Not to sure about that cold though guess I prefer the hot:)
Mammouth hunting in Siberia with spears must have been some sport as well ;-)
I would love to do that, what a cool adventure.

These are the other fallas terrain looks a little easier just more isolated! But then that's Alaska baby:thumbsup:
Yeah, pretty tough conditions and for an American video, not too over hyped.
I enjoyed watching it.
And there's me moaning about winter in Northland. There was frost on the ground the other day :o
