    Last deer for 2020

My daughter has been working on a dairy farm over summer. She is on a 6 on 2 off roster. Her next 2 days off were News Year Eve and News Years Day. So we set off to one of my favorite places. I figured being New Years we would have company up there, but everyone else must have had other places to be. There were a few deer about and we managed to sneak up on a young stag. Alex shot it, but we were unsure at first. The walk back to camp was an absolute mission having to push through head high broom. A great way to finish the year.

The "knifehand" was doing a great job on taking the meat off. Wicked. Nice vid bro. Quality time with the tamariki. Always treasured.

    Top work.
I’ve found the best hunting to be around New Years, far less people in the bush.
