Thread: Longest Day Tahr

Left the Hut at 2pm, got back at 10:10pm, Longest day, Longest damn climb.
Many thanks to Mr Gimp [I think] for incessant hill cimbing encouragement.

Started out on a beaut Sunday to be greeted with this on the way in. Looked ominous
1hr in we were confronted with this, so had to turn back and hole up in Geraldine for the night.

18hrs later the same spot

Gimp walking it, why not me, well simple, it was his truck that was gonna get wet.

First Tahr was shot from the bottom of the photo and it was up in about 2 thirds of the way up the bluff in front. After the first shot more popped out as you can see in the vid,
