    For the love of Spring.

Nothing glamorous about a spiker yearling, the hills are filthy with yearlings at the moment as the grass grows and the weather is getting very warm. I saw 3 other yearlings today but I'm not greedy, I only carry one at a time and will be back for another soon enough. The 270 did the business as to be expected.

My only regret is I didn't stay in for the night, today was one of the best days in the bush weather wise. lying in the sun with a fishing rod on the river would have been magic and finished the day of beautifully.

Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.

Some nice eating there alright, the 270 must be on the button. At least you know where there are a few more.

Cheers, he'll enjoy that. I just spent 3 days in the hills, saw 4 hares.

Spring hasn't come to the high country yet, but we should have seen a few chamois. The chopper had 6 or so on the side of the road as we drove in, sothey are around.
