Meat Eater on Netflix
I've been watching this hunting series on Netflix lately. I'm normally not a huge fan of American hunting shows, but I quite like this one. The host is a genuine hunter, has some awesome hunting experiences and cooks something from each hunt.
See what you think...

Its a great series. Some of the places he goes are very inspiring.

He is pretty cheesy but his hunts often go a bit further off piste than your average American hunting show. Decent watching. Great commitment to using different parts of the animal

Yeah a lot better than most yank crap.

Good show and the wife even enjoys it :) win win

Look up the one from season 4? In nz where he goes pig hunting. Quite funny. He does some other nz hunts which ate a bit canned but can't expect much better from a tourist. I like him.

I agree. Not normally a fan of the dramatised American stuff but Steve is a total good bugger. Great ethics and is very well spoken in how he presents our way of life to others I think. Boy they do some hard yards on some of their hunts too!

Quite like that he's okay producing an episode where the trigger is not pulled. Makes it seem like the show is based on 'hunting' and the lifestyle, rather than glorifying the trophy. As said above, great to see many parts of the animal being used. His recipe/butchery episodes are a good watch too. Have had a quick look at the recipe books he has released too.

Been watching his vids and reading his blogs for a couple of years........good stuff

Came across this the other day too and ended up being interesting and enjoyable watch for an american show.
-
Quite entertaining but yeah you get the feeling alot of the "hunts" are animals being fed to attract them to blinds or canned hunts, still a good show and some interesting stuff worth watching

He’s also a lefty which makes him automatically cooler.
