The nights were pretty cool, well below 10 degrees. The guides were only interested in the back steaks

He'd showed me some other pics of yours and I put 2 and 2 together. Looks like you get up to some pretty awesome stuff.

Yeah him and daniel slay the fish aye real jealous of what they get up too!

Dan lives just up the road from me. We do alot of overnighters up north or waihau bay. Last year myself and the two of them fished from whangamata all the way across to East cape and back the next day. It's was pretty amazing. Bloody long way out to sea in a small boat.

Yeah pretty big animal, they are carrying around some serious head gear. The problem is for someone who has not seen them on the hoof before, tehy all look big! I imagine many have shot the "wrong" animal due to language barrier issues or just confusion

Yes, you're quite right. Bezoar hunt costs seem to be constantly creeping upwards. I'm not right up to date but think USD $20 K is probably a starting point for a hunt. I know of others who paid more even 3-4 years ago. Some areas regarded as higher quality with higher trophy potential do set higher prices.

Outstanding adventure Jock :cool: The fantastic ibex is an icing on the cake from seeing a couple of snow leopards for sure.
