My guess is the tourists have been told the story of the Fiordland moose and have just decided to have a bit of fun by saying they saw one.
99% of tourists have a phone or camera on them with quick access to it to take photos.Give me 10 seconds,I could get my phone out of my inside jacket top pocket and take a photo.Il beleave there's moose when there's a 2025 photo.
-seems interesting thats its Canadians seeing this these mooseys -- now they will be familiar with a moose and likely elk but are they familiar with red deer - no likely not - so how about they saw a red stag in poor light wet muddy they would look a very dark colour and big just sayin
My thoughts as well. When they talk deer they are thinking light colored Whitetail or Mule deer. A dirty old spiker or rutty stag would look more to them a moose than a deer.Quote:
