    Nice

Have just had a nice time chasing Sika in the Kawekas with my 2 sons and a mate of theirs.

Very windy and wet. I managed to get one, and the boys got a couple.
Great times. I'm sure CraigC will post plenty of pics and vid.

Where the one I got ended up.

Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.

No real drama but the roughest trip I've had. He used the 500, otherwise we would have been stuck there. As it was he had to drop Blair & Hamish at Makahu Rd end and then pick them up in the truck. But it was all good.

Two evenings of hunting got rained right out. And the rest of the time it was the wind. They sure disappeared when the wind was up. Craig and I got our 2 on the first evening and next morning before the wx packed up. Blair got his over where he was on the the first morning too.
    Cheers

Yeah. A thumping big hole in its shoulder was a bit of a negative though.

Some other pics you will recognise...

A lovely area that's for sure. I want my ashes scattered up there when I go.
