    A nice head

I hunt in an area where there has been a bit of talk by the locals that there was a nice stag seen in the velvet during the summer. Close enough to my spot for me to keep an eye out for him.

I was out there today with Brian, and we came across him. Unfortunately for us he was on the wrong side of the fence by 150 yards...damn.

We tried to roar him over to us, but he wasn’t having any of it, and buggered off.

Until I looked at the video tonight, we hadn’t realized that he was caught up in some wire. No wonder he exited stage left.

He will keep, and there is still a chance our paths will cross again...

We saw a few other deer tonight too, but not quite as good as him.

That's a deer and a half! good stuff on not jumping the fence, I know many that would have for that bugger...and probably for much less.

    Hope you find him.

Very nice looking stag and in good condition.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!

Language eh? Isn't it a funny thing? On a yacht that would mean "great dunny you have there".

You know Bruce comparing the antlers to the length of the face and the size of that body. I reckon it would go over 330",s easy
