A few pics of the rifle and markings would be helpful.
Any No4 bolt will fit but it will need to be checked for headspace before using. This is a classic case of why you never separate bolts from rifles!
Indeed, an old fullah died and his wife got dementia, Grandfather aquired it years ago. No family members know where the bolts of any of the rifles are. A real shame as this one is non issued and unfired.
Gun City have at least one on their website.
I've got the same rifle. Have to say mines never been accurate out past 100 yards so if its anything like mine your not missing out on much.
This rifle is new so I am expecting accuracy over 100 yards. As I said above my Grandfather aquired it years ago from an old fullah who removed the bolts from his guns. This Parker Hale 303 is unfired. Grease was still in the barrel. It will shoot ok. I have a bolt on it's way now so it wont be long before it starts getting bedded in.

Ha , just thinkin of all the sitcoms featuring well meaning Granddads, but yes that sort of experiance is invaluable. Mind you pay attention so you can show the next lot how its done .:-))

Yeah you are right about that! We have actually shot several over the years, the old boy used to have quite the collection from long toms to jungles and a few #4s aswell. His body is failing him these days so he moved them all on a few years ago for others to enjoy but kept this one simply because it was new. I haven't quite got his bug for them but its a bit of fun.
My mk2 is a Fazakerley blonde ( I do have the matching stock , the one shown is a long stock ) . Top is a 1908 Brazillian Mauser ( not contract ), middle is a enfield No8 .22, and bottom is a K 31.
