That first pic is of a group chowing down on a big dead sow. I could hear them talking!
The first one said “It’s what she would have wanted”!
The second one said “I prefer LONG PORK”

Few of the boar that where shot out where I hunted in France.
They will charge both hunters and beaters! That’s the fun of it.
I’d not want to be wounded and be out there after dark.
I know there’s a big pig population around Chernobyl. Now they might get a taste for long pork with the war going on

Hah hah. There are some tall tales in that old book. He could really spin a yarn. When it came out many years ago Ken got a real pasting in the reviews. Great pics in it.

Thanks for posting, this showed evidence pigs will attack and I notice it had plenty of opportunity to use it's flight mode but instead chose to fight.

I checked the credits at the end of the film and nowhere could I find this boar on Walt Disney's pay list so I guess this was real and proves pigs will attack.

Yep I agree and that footage that @Strummer posted shows they will attack, I wouldn't want to have that thing come at me in tall scub out at night.

I think Boaraxa was talking about a different and quite unique breed.

Years ago my father had about 30 sows.Time to get a couple of mid size baconers for the freezer.Go to the main feeding troughs at feed time.Put the 22 behind the ears of a mid size pig.Bang the pig would roll around a bit till he got knifed. In the mean time my brother and i would be hitting the other sows on the noses as they try to walk in and have a go at dad. They were quiet aggressive so we had to be as well.Next time we just seperated what we wanted to a small pen and did the business.A good bite from one of those big landrace sows and yr leg is fkd.

Most pigs wont attack, just like most sharks, bulls, lions ect

never been by a boar, always by a nutty sow that has suckers or is very pregnant

Yip same, but our sows were big saddle backs (As they were out side pigs they had less sunburn and mange problems) those girls stood as tall as your waist and weighed literally as much as a cow. When they started scoffing at you it was time to be very careful not to miss when you gave them a crack on the nose with a batten!.

Used to see some old Bush pigs down the local pub.....bloody hell you would not want to corner one of those!
Really they should bring in round pubs so that this situation wont happen

That is a special 'Russian attack pig' bred and trained to sneak behind enemy lines and attack the troops at night
