    quick mission

Jumped in my mates plane friday morn with him and another good mate. 2.5 hours of flying down the alps from palmy, saw a heap of animals on the flight down. We dropped into the big headbasin we wanted to land in but the shitty westerly was hammering down through the pass, had an attempt but too risky to land so diverted through to a more popular canterbury river which was a shame. Mate was bloody crook by this time so had to get her on the ground asap as he was filling plastic bags rapidly haha. Fly camped up a major trib for one night, and in a hut for the other. Seen a few animals but nothing big enough horn or antler wise to shoot. Few reds and couple bull tahr. Dont need meat either. Done about 30kms walking and glassing but no luck So we jumped back in plane sunday morning and we were in palmy in 2 hours. Bloody brilliant way to travel. No animals, but its good just to go hunting with the boys Heading back down a again very shortly for another gander so time will tell....

Probably public. It's all good though aye? Just land your plane where-ever.
