    Oh...that river looks boatable
Those rivers are boatable in between the massive unboatable sections
Thats why we take packrafts too cross then

Those rivers can also double in flow in an instant

@whanahuia What is the raft you are using there, have you upgraded from the klymit?

Kind of. It's a rapid raft that My mate from Norway left here for future missions. I still use the Klymit but this is better and I borrow it when I think I might need the extra ability.

Great write up and pics Craig..thanks for sharing with us! Dan shouldn’t feel too bad if the old guy only beat him by 2 meters..
    Another great trip!

Great cape on Dan's bull. Well worth keeping.
Tinny luck with the Red hinds. Maybe a message from above with three offerings in a row and you probably did thd right thing in shooting one.
Are you enjoying the hunting in that rugged country ?

Im actually going to carry in a large raft and camp a night and see if we can shoot a few reds and drift them down the river.

Always have enjoyed that country, but my goal now im living here is to find a few spots for shorter trips that dont need half a days slog to get too. Ideally places like this where I can hunt them in one or two nights.
