    Red deer stakeout

Latest video trying to snipe some spring red deer in the ruahines.

    Cheers.

Good to see some deer out and about. Man you cook up some decent feeds on the hill - makes my peanut butter sandwiches look pretty sad

That must be one of the most videoed spots in the Ruahines. Most entertaining seeing it made out to be a huge mission, thanks.

And that is the reality of hunting. If it was easy there would be nothing left. Cheers for sharing

Really, that is a bit cynical and may deter a relative newbie Forum member from posting anything else !

Lol I used to do exactly the same with sandwiches or just eat nut bars all day on the hill, then went out a few times with guys that have solid feeds and i realised how much more energy i had afterwards. It converted me so now do the same, bit more weight to carry but makes the day out more enjoyable thats for sure!

Do I detect a hint of sarcasm @Puffin?
