    Some very photogenic pigs.

    Yesterday when sorting out some fencing at the back of the farm I noticed some rooting.

    Both myself and the other house wouldn't mind some nice eating pork so I snuck up there just before dark tonight.
    Eight were out and I closed in to about 70 yards, took a prone position and headshot the fattest boar, then reloaded and swung through and shot the best sow as she ran past.
    Pretty happy with this rifle! It can be happily in Tahr country one day, and shooting close running game the next.

    Standing silage. Just dried off the cows, they will get a break of that each day over winter.

    Barrett fieldcraft in 270 win, with a GPO 1.5-9 Illuminated G4 drop reticle.

    Out of interest I bought a swaro Z3 with similar reticle to stick on it, because it was lighter, but the GPO is holding its own in low light and the illuminated dot is great for running shots, so havnt bothered to change.
