Things go south for Mr and Mrs Sneeze

So we went south, way south and got on this

Went for a walk and found a a deer in the bush

The next day found one on a clearing

Mrs Sneeze caught some of these off the beach and everyone caught some more and some trumpeter. 4 out of 4 dinners preferred trumpeter.

How do you rate the white tail for flavour?

The weather, country, food , everything was outstanding (I put on a kilo+).
The whole week made me think of a line from a movie " days like theses are far to rare to cheapen with heavy handed words"
Yeah white tail is very nice but hard to rate against others unless you've got them side by side.

South Lords .Weather was perfect from start to finish.
Ferry trip over , food was good, the beer was crap

We have a block booked for 10 days in Feb next year (my first visit) and this has well and truely wet my appetite :thumbsup:

Yep lived for 3 years in Bluff in the mid 70's, used to hop over often with the Ryan's, great place but hardly remember seeing the sun.

Whitetail - best served with caramelized onions and maple syrup IMHO.

Very, very nice Mr Sneeze. I must go back some time.
