Gents, a pretty awesome morning out in the bush meandering along the creeks ended up in a day i wont forget any time soon.
the day prior sighting 10 hinds felt as though there needed to be a stag in the area.. i couldnt find much signs of one though- until mid morning on the 2nd day an well up into a side creek system that I ran into this Beautiful Creature- Victorian Sambar Stag -
the little 30-06 and 150gr Woodleigh PPSN done the work, i just sent it where it had to go.

Well done. Bit of age on him. Front teeth look to be well worn?

Beautiful big black face, will make a fabulous mount.

I realize now why people use DG cals on them. I thought they were being all American with their "I use nothing smaller than 30-06 on my hogs"
