Two more deer with the 300 NM

Nothing useful in this film, it is just me experimenting with the cameras.
I've used a "bite mount" for the GoPro to catch the details of setting up position etc. Works very well because it's fast (open mouth, bite!) and it looks at the same details as I do with the camera being just below my eyes.

Also, I think at this stage it is safe to say my red-dot experiement/ idea is a flop. It was mounted for shooting close range deer, but I have not even been close to using it - even in perfect opportunities like this.

Nice, again. The drone clip at 3.25 is stunning.

What drone are you using mate?
It seemed to handle that wind well.

50% of the reason I bought one was to confirm kills and save a bit of effort and worry when animals go out of sight after a shot.

    Cool Mate
I'm drawn to the mountains and the bush, it's where life is clear, where the world makes the most sense.

Excellent footage, and nice shooting. You have a lot of open country to contend with. Look forward to your posts.

Thanks for that guys. Trying to learn how to edit properly, so production will drop to about 1 per month now.

It is the DJI Air. It flies a lot better than it films, high winds will yield shaky films. I bough this drone because it is small and offers HD. The new DJI Air is just as small and offers 4K. I have a ton of minor probems with the Spark, seems to be normal for this drone when I search the internet for clues...

Thanks for that, very generous. Despite what Bergen's inhabitants think of their city, Bergen is somewhat out-of-way and isolated

Thanks for that. Yes, it is quite different from the roe deer hunting. More open, faster paced and usually a lot of eyes so I need to be careful when filming. With the roe it felt like I had all the time in the world, with the reds it feels like I'm doing a race.

I have had a great run so far with a mavic pro. I can't film in 4k as I have nothing that will play it so record in 1080p

I get wind warnings around 15kts but she still seems to fly and film well.
The range is amazing. Had it over 2.7km away from me the other night and still had perfect reception.
