Nice shooting, he looked impressive on the hoof eh. Liked your intro on the video :D
A beast, great result Looseunit......
Nice work and great intro
Cheers guys , I got the best of both worlds , a great big fat load of venison and its off to get mounted for the wall , hard antler but am going to try and leave the velvet on , better than a skinny stinky love struck beast .
Nice shot mate
prime meat and a good rack, well done mate and what a great shot across there.
Good going Loose unit. They're nice and fat this time of year. And I agree, they look majestic in velvet, too.
Wow - fantastic to share that experience with you through your video... you are a lot calmer than I would've been after making such a great shot. My first stag was a 40x40 red on the Crow River around this time of year and I got it mounted, the Taxidermist (Terry Jacob & Son IIRC) put the antlers in formaldehyde for 6 weeks, looks as good today as it did 20 years ago.
Nice shooting Jase. Good on ya.
Ive had two mounted in velvet and they do look good.
Nice shot man
Great looking spot too
Awesome; maybe I should have shot on of the stags I saw last night...
What calibre? Hit in the neck?
