Cool place in there, worth a wander. Got out yesterday. Few deer about but the bush is farked and stalking was pretty difficult. Missed a sitter must have clipped some scrub on the way through. After hobbling round in the bush for a few days with a hurt knee i decided to concentrate on the open tussock area but didn't see much out in the open, however I don't really know much about hunting open country so take that worth a grain of salt.

Plenty of spring growth allready but there is alot of feed in the bush too so the pressure may not be on them to get out and feed so much. Saw alot of broadleaf that wasnt browsed. The deer that were shot were all in very good condition and pretty damn tasty
