    Looks to the the complete opposite to Fiordland!
    Is it difficult to get in within range with such flat open country?

    It was very easy. Got the ute to about 50meters. Oil and gas roads everywhere.

    But a couple of days earlier did a big pack out in the mountains for my sons elk so was happy with an easy one.

    what do those prong horn eat like bit similar to a very over sized chamois

    They are ok. I prefer deer and elk. Not a big fan of chamois either.

    thanks I have been told by mates who have hunted over there that a fat spring caribou is the best
