Thread: young fellars first decent trip

Took my young fella for his first decent semi serious deer(hopefully) hunt last month, no deer were shot this time around but we did get a few goats. It was a bloody good trip.
It was quite interesting watching him go through the learning process of how the world works in terms of being quiet and wind direction and the things to look for in the bush. By no means is he a full blown outdoors kid but he is far from a city kid too, hes grown up shooting possums and the like but never really got into anything requiring a few more ninja skills.
It was a good learning experience for me too realizing you cant expect a kid to be absolutely slow and silent for a whole day, sometimes you've just got to let them throw that rock or rattle that tree.
