    1995 honda horizon (isuzu bighorn)

    Just wondering what opinion you guys have on these picking it up on monday as it was the only SUV I could find in my price range that I could get finance on. Scored it for $3990 handled pretty nicely on the test drive plus I got too used to driving wagons of this size in aussie and just can't stand being in a normal car anymore, engine is a 3.1l turbo diesel

    I rate the Izusu pretty highly, good diffs and running gear. The 2.8 engine was apparently the best. Think the 3.1 can have a tendency to crack the head if it gets too hot. Would have one over a Toyota smurf, and that is saying something for a died in the wood Toyota fan like me.

    No worries thanks for that can't see it getting too hot as it will do bugger all towing. I used to change oil every 10,000K with my old primera so would the oil change distance be the same for diesel or is it less than 10,000K's just want to make sure my arse is covered.

    i have put over 50k on mine, good truck.
    5k oil changes.
    my wife likes it so much it is her prefered drive now. so i have to drive an audi model 80.
    i got told the 3.1 motor was the pick???
    keep the oil up and im sure you will do well with it.
