    Had a 2007 mondeo 2 litre. Gearbox shit itself.that model was last year before changing to new shape. They are a shared gearbox auto with mazda ..from memory a c4.. gearbox.if it's manual it would be fine .but I'd sray away from the auto.box..I changed ours cost me 1k for a box years ago and did the work myself.
