I built a caravan not long ago out of composite structural honeycomb type panels, a toy hauler would be much the same.

What size are you wanting to build? Approximate budget?

The cost of materials certainly adds up.
Probably about 4.8m or so, seems to be a common size. Would want to a tandem. Hoping to spend not much more than $30k.

Do you have any more details on the honeycomb material?

This is good value, looks quite smart and alloy construction.

Looked at that one myself but its got tandem durotorqes which are trouble they dont spread load evenly they screw tires off when tight turns and tow is never the right height good as singles but drama in pairs other wise thats a good looking unit .

Yeah, was in a truck towing a loaded tandem durotorque box trailer across the Gentle Annies, and in the tight corners the trailer suddenly began the 'fat man waddle' and got rapidly worse till we thought we would lose it. Not a good design.

Look up Pantec or holypan, place called lavender panels in Australia do it. Far easier/lighter/stronger than ACM with framing.

Are you building the chassis too?

If I have to I will go down the new road, would get it properly done, my bird spatter crooked welding would only disappoint me
