    Best Offroad Aerial and Radio

A question for you truckies/off roaders amongst us.
    I have a 40 series Landcruiser.
I need a better aerial and if needed a new radio.
For example the one I have looses reception from about Waiouru to Bulls.
Not fussed on whether it has CD player etc I mostly just listen to radio.
Wife uses bluetooth through the one I have.
But what, who ,where do I get a decent aerial that can pick up stations in the wops.
Do not want giant thing the old truck is pretty gutless as it is without any more load and wind resistance.

@erniec I use one of these on my truck - seems OK. I have it mounted on one of the roof bars and it's pretty robust.

    Will look at them.
The one that has been on it for years just has a wire type one.
Broke on down south got some brazing rod from the local garage unit I could get a replacement.
Cant rush these things I have only had in 20+ years.
Micky Duck and mimms2 like this.
