Gummed up, strip out and clean. It's basically an air separator, trying to stop fuel blarting out the inlet and creating a danger when filling if I have the right valve. There's a doohickey in there that closes on liquid fuel hitting it, which allows the air to sod if while keeping the fuel in (hopefully).

When the valve stops playing it starts restricting air/vapour out of the tank as well which isn't helpful...

Thanks for your advice. I would be very surprised if it was gummed up as the boat is only a year old and has probably only been used a couple of a dozen times.

The hoses have low points in them and I did wonder if the low point on the vent hose might be full of liquid preventing it from venting, but the tank does fill to a point, it just shuts off too early.

I guess I could ask Profile for advice but with other issues I have found them to be quite dismissive.

I'd still pull the valve and check it, gummed up also includes full of crap like sealant and other foreign crud... Although, if you have low points and the fill hose is fluid locking as you suggest that is also a likely cause, there should be no uphill sections and if you do have these you either need to shorten the hose or strap a strongbqck to it to keep it free from dips kinks and low points. That and a vapor lock valve that isn't fully free would be the most likely causes, there are others but most are unlikely if it's that new baring an install fluffup.
