    Car audio

Any reason why one of these wouldn't fit a 1985 70 series landcruiser? I think I have enough space in the dash for it.

All aftermarket car head units look immensely gay, too many flashing red LEDs and shit. I'd like to go back to the old 1980's tape deck but I'm not sure if it works... currently it's in the dash right under the new (ish) head unit that looks like a disco ball at a gay bar (and doesn't do what I want - bluetooth)

I was there when you did that, was considering doing something like that using the old 1980's toyota factory tape deck as a faceplate.

I also only have 2x incredibly shitty 4" speakers under the dash so I'm gonna need to cut some holes in the door panels and run some wires for something bigger & better I suppose.

Still haven't actually installed my snorkel. Holes in the template don't line up with the bolt holes and big hole in the snorkel. Not keen to drill holes in my guards till I work out why.

Get a mechless unit. No CD, just BT, USB, SD and radio.

Must admit that I liked to wind the window down on the Safari. Great sound.

I've decided to use the factory 1985 head unit as a cosmetic faceplate for a cobbled-together direct USB to amp setup. Retro-looking, cheap, should do what I want.

That's what I did in both my cars. Pioneer mechless Bluetooth head unit for about $160. Works well

Real guns start with the number 3 or bigger and make two holes, one in and one out
