Rotowaro coal mine, watching fully loaded 777's drifting right side leading on the wet haul roads (dust reduction). 777's are cab offset to the left if you aren't familiar, so the pilot is essentially drifting blind throttle on to keep the thing on the haul road! Skillful is an understatement...

    Very skillful
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!

Bloody dangerous, the cabs only connected to the dump body by a big arse ball joint and a couple of steering rams.
I have seen a few part company due to harsh wear and tear.

Yeah all fun and games when youíre not paying the bills. Iíve not seen a full separation, but plenty of situations where the cab or bin is on the ground 90 degrees out of orientation to the other

It's a bit hard to do it any other way when you're in full slide!!!!! A rigid body vehicle is possibly a better option in that situation I would say.

Back in the day our Terex dumper drivers would do that in their 150 tonners. But not for the shits and giggles, more to spray water all over the electrics (diesel-electric drive) so they could have some down time. Lazy buggers. Might have had something to do with the bottle of Bundaberg they skulled each evening. Back when Aussie mines were wet.
