As bob said newer with more hours is better than old with less (corrosion)
The dart are good little boat that ride nicely(for there length) and are legendary for a wet ride. Ie any weather and all the spray comes straight at you.
Alternatively since you are ticking it up anyway you could look at something around 60-70m 3000 tonne 5000 horse power get some crew and quota and look forward to 1- 5 mill every 7 weeks minus 25-30k a day running costs.
New would only set you back around around 35mil, a doer uper maybe 3-5mill:D
Sounds like a bulletproof plan. What could possibly go wrong
Re. the 20 hours - "We bought the boat with the engine having had a full recondition (paperwork to show work done at cost of $3000). Only had no more than 20 hours done on the engine since then."
20 since the recondition. I know nothing about reconditioning though, so have no idea whether that makes your opinion of it any better :P
