I think that's where the Aussies coined the term " Shit for brains" from

Here's a picture of all the dangly down bits under a T60.

Can see why it doesn't come with a low box or 4WD option. all that stuff looks mighty inviting to rocks and mud and water

Oh, and the unsprung mass has just shot through the roof. Will be interesting to see how long those shocks last...

Batteries from these things will be the next environmental nightmare....they are essentially disposable vehicles with the cost of replacement.

Don't get me wrong, they are cool TEC and I would have one if I had the money to throw away on one but I don't see them solving any problem other than smog in city's....and they just move the pollution somewhere else but it will improve the air quality in big city's.
Not really required here I think.
Free charging is average, slow etc. I charge at home for "free" between 9pm and 12am with contact energy, at home my charger does 50km/hr. A normal wall charger is like 10km/hr.

Been to nelson twice down south a few times, right down to invercargil couple weeks ago. The tesla super chargers are bloody good, get me about 400km in 20mins charging. Otherwise plenty of others in the 250km in 20min category all over the place. Cost is insignificant for the few ling trips we do.

New battery doesn't cost that much by the way.... and it's warrantied for 8 years so not too bad. I guess time will tell...

I think that's what I heard but I'm tipping that as electric vehicles become more common the power lines in the streets won't have the capacity.
Now we need to increase the copper wire run through town.

I heard the newest batteries have no lithium, but can't remember where I heard it or if they are available yet

They have been promising this for ever and telling us about the future of batteries, just haven't really come up with the goods yet. From what I've heard what ever you need for a battery wether it has lithium or not needs to be mined ...
