@Rushy would be a "Never Ready."
Bigger is ALWAYS better when it comes to marine batteries - just don't go stupid and fit 6 forklift batteries!
And a trickle charger for the winter months is the best maintenance for it.
Just remember - you can't push start a boat.

I would think that battery should do fine if in good nick, a bigger capacity cca might last a bit longer but cost more.
I would take Mikees or Maccas advice over mine tho I only use electricity to melt stuff.
I have had a pretty good look. The main wiring had a pretty thick coating of insulation tape over it all. That is now off for inspection.
Also taken the carbs off to have a clean up. So it may be a while before it's back in the water

Don't forget to change to plugs! I got a new motor doing that last week, I also run it, a Johnson big looper 130 HP V4, on premium gas.
