jump starter pack
Looking for one that can start a diesel 4wd from flat yet not too bulky, heavy or expensive so it can also come in the jet boat. I see this one from supercheap is on sale but it weights 7.5kg https://www.supercheapauto.co.nz/p/s...id=SCN01060201
can anyone make some recommendations based on experience? cheers in advance

I have a powerall 600amp one wait for 30% off at repco, just need to recharge it every two to three months. Note if battery voltage is under 3volts... will not start but I believe /was told if you attach leads and leave on terminals for a while it may raise the voltage enough by trickle charge that the pack will work. Saw the 80amp version of this in mitre 10 in chrsicthruch on special for $120 chargers and starter..

BNT do a little one with some balls. Will jump a dead flat 4.0 Dyna straight off. About the size of two coffee mugs together (but squared off obviously). $200 or something, but they last for years.

IMHO big is good. None handle being dropped (sealed lead acid break internally of bumped too hard). Best is very heavy jumper leads.

yeah, I read a few reviews, the powerall ones are lithium ion I think so nice and compact, vs the likes of that super cheap one which is likely sealed lead acid, skinny leads are criticised in reviews of some of the lithium ones but those ones do have usb charging. The power supremes are $200 plus 10 freight on trademe from smart marine, same unit is 249 at mitre 10 but doubt they would honour their 15% guarantee...
