New Zealand International Six Day Enduro Team 2025

We have a group of young talent overseas representing New Zealand this week at one of the oldest motorsport racing events on a world stage, the international six day enduro. It wouldn’t surprise me if this doesn’t make our mainstream media in place of the other garbage they fill their headlines with but fortunately we have good passionate buggers like Ash who will provide coverage on youtube and other pages on social media.

Here’s the opener to tell you what the event is all about: https://youtu.be/dlkj5KnNzlQ?si=8h7CJZPe11rAmlZf

We have also had some other young kiwi lads racing a world renowned hard enduro event recently in Romania, the Red Bull Romaniac’s. Again probably no coverage but the lads represented well. Notably Wil Yeoman placing 5th overall in the silver class after four brutal days of hard enduro racing.

I was there at day 6 of the NZ ISDE. It was horrible watching that Jap rider who overcooked the flat top, your mind figured out where he was going to land and it wasn't on the track....

But New Zealand got some good coverage, despite the horrendously wet couple of days they experienced. I was part of the crew running the NZ Army team, as 5 other Nation's Armys' participated too. The Swedish Army threw all their team, riders, bikes, mechanics, masseauers etc into one military plane and flew them all over here. Now that's how its done

We have some pretty experienced Kiwi riders doing the Romaniacs this year. Boy that prologue gets more and more brutal every year.

And amazing to see an electric bike take out the Silver class prologue, knowing how heavy it is. Just wow!

Dont forget Cole Davies in the us watch this space next year.
I wish Nz sent there best to the 6 day rather than those that can afford to go.

I have friends that go to Romaniacs regularly. Suffice to say they are made of it$$, but they are also hard hard trainers and have got where they are by hard graft.

6 years ago you could do Romaniacs for about 15-18K NZ: flights, accom, bike rental, entry fee etc etc etc.

    This year its 35K.

With Cole’s success in supercross this year he has really caught the attention these overseas representatives should get. I tune in to watch him race every weekend. We had Brodie Connolly and Cole both racing at Unadilla in the states last weekend. Brodie ran top 5 for a period of the race which was epic.

We have Rachael Archer dominating the womens GNCC and enduro scene in the states too. Plenty going on that won’t be spoken of at home as much as it should...

Rachel lives just up the road from here.
It irritates the hell out of me that she hasn't featured in the sportswoman of the year.
