Thread: Nissan st ute , any good

    got a stx.......coming up 200k, the seals have gone in the rear axle and I have done a few universals and the clutch was replaced at 80k for a HD version done by Nissan and recently replaced the mags also under warrenty.
    did have to get the air bag light fixed which was 600 bucks, I don't like the 6 speed box and it value off road other than paddocks is limited.
    it's very good on the road, a prick to park and back a trailor and the fuel eco is average compared to other 4WD's, I hear the newer models are better
    it does have a lot of room for the dogs and I like the fold up back seats.
    I am looking at a new truck now, would look at a new stx 450 with the auto, but am considering the holden and triton first.

    The lease guy who at the end of the day doesn't care what brand I buy as they got every make and model told me the Stx autos where no way as good as toyotas autos . Im hearing the Colorados are a nice truck

    The Colorados I like but the one I drove was a clattery as hell and vibrated severely under power, sales guy told me they all vibrate. The interior is better than the Ranger IMO. Pity they didn't get the 5 cylinder diesel into them, I forgive the Ranger is shortfalls when I hit the accelerator ohohohohohohohohohohohoYEAH BABY
