Having propelled me up hill and down dale for 32 years the faithful 47 year old Suzuki mudbug TF185 is off to a new home. Yarning over a coffee with @Mathew prior to him heading back to Whanganui I can see its gone to a very good home. Hope to see some restoration photos as the bug gets some TLC thrown at her.

I'm not expecting she'll come up this good, but they were certainly well rated in their day:

The old man bought one around 1982 for the farm and it was a great farm bike.
A year or so later I wanted to up grade my CT125 to an XR200 to commute to school on but Dad made me buy an ER185 instead. Same motor but more a dual purpose frame etc.

After the third time I melted a hole in the piston Dad was big enough to admit he should have let me buy the XR, fun times.

i had a ts 185 in my motorcycling phase and it served me well .even managed a couple of trips over the hil when i lived at home on the coast .nearly froze my tits off on my last one .mates had to lift me off the bike and feed me coffee at Springfield. got to Otira and it was that bloody warm sweated like a pig!

overall mine was a very loyal and faithful steed!
