    Off-road e bike

Just picked this up today. Had a little ride around at home and goes real well with full throttle mode. Going to give it a good test in CNI this weekend. Anyone else used one to hunt off

All manufacturers quote distance on absolutely flat terrain. Start doing serious hills and you'll get 30-40km out of it

Yeah I’ll see how it goes with distance over the weekend. 30 or 40km is still plenty to get me into camp and back

    What sort of dollars?
I have been giving an Ebike some serious thought of late but more looking at fulky suspended MTB than cargo type bikes.

FIL recently sold his Cherokee Chief, he wasn't getting the economy this one seems to offer. It was good off-road though.

I had a ct110 in mint showroom condition but sold it as rego was too expensive. Enquired about the UBCO bikes (rrp about $7k) and walked after being told they were quite heavy and claimed range was at lower speeds on flat sealed surface. They will eat the Kw when raced over undulating terrain. Currently investigating the fat tyred bike like on this thread as they would be suitable to fit on the caravan tow bar. I’d be interested in how you find this machine works out.
