Seeing as we on this forum buy a lot of this guy's products, I thought this would be interesting to follow: Seems like a lemon.

watch this space if that bad there will be more-- bit like the Indian Mahindra Mahindra jeep in seventies -- man they were shockers
Mahindra's in the 80's were shite, gearbox's, brakes and clutch's.
Faaaark wouldnt that rot ya socks :wtfsmilie:
you are not wrong they tried to give us them in Forest Service to replace the series 2 landrovers ( they were not flash either ) and yes clutches engines well what did not break -we snapped the front drive shaft its was like exhaust tubing
Considering you could have bought probably 6 Mahindra's jeeps for the price of 1 Ineos Grenadier
I hadn't heard of the Ineos Grenadier, figured it would be cheap.....opps wrong again....
What a piece of shit. I can’t understand why people even bother trying things like this, but I guess someone’s got it.
The guy that designed the Ineos Grenadier was trying to recreate the Landrovers low tech, high 4x4 reputation in a modern vehicle... ie less sensors and automation and more manual adjustments. That's how I understand it anyway.
For the NZ price of over $100,000 & up to $135,000..... its looking like a lemon going by this guys experiences.
Obviously didnt do his research before buying the piece of shit. Wonder what the resale is on it, another kick in the nuts.....
The idea was good, the design was good, it just seems the implementation was not.
So they've faithfully recreated Land Rovers legendary reliability?
yes Steve 123 they were not great but they were what one had series 2b were not to bad the 110 was terrible - but what else was there 1960 -70 ish - Austin gypsy - not a lot better - International scout were very rare - willys jeep just to small and there were other jeep models but again rare - and then one day the mighty land cruiser - the Inoes Grenadier should I say should have been good they have a BMW sourced engine but sounds like shite - not sure I would buy a new land cruiser withe 2.8 from the hi lux in it just does not seem right - I drove Hi Lux for 30 years various models love them damn reliable never ever had a breakdown in one - unlike the 110 landrover work gave me - we managed to finally get rid of it at 50,000 km after bitterly complaining about it - we had done clutch - windsreen wiper motors- fuel pump- numerous shock rubbers- replaced most door handles - just a pile of shite - but damn they still look good worse part of it -
