Thread: Splashed a few $$ on the boat

320 hp Cummins mercruiser diesels.
Fuels the cheapest part of the exercise.
Had a couple of small water leaks where the starboard stern drive bolts thru the transom so she had to come out of the water and have the starboard engine and stern drive removed to repair, while that was going on they replaced the starboard exhaust (holed) and a few other maintenance issues, so all good to go for another few years.
I’ve only put 350 hours on her over 10 years, don’t really have the time nowadays to really put her to use so will probably sell her in the next couple of months.
Basically you have to keep using them, mine sits on a marina berth and gets used maybe 8 times a year.
