I wouldn't bother, you'll contaminate your bowser for a start. Sand and sugar won't do shit, it'll settle out in their fuel cans, you'll still have it in the bowser. Petrol and adblue (ad-blyat) smell, so they'll possibly realise and burn your site down or whatever. The risk exceeds the reward for any kinda additive shenanigans, just catch the pricks in person or on camera and make it not worth their while.

Fuck I hate crackheads, shouldn't have to live like this
Trout, Tangobravo, kukuwai and 2 others like this.

Very Wise Tommy... yes, its sucks and we shouldn't live like this but that's reality.
I had my diesel can stolen a couple of times and thought of putting another can with some water in the can to get them back but for this reason above ↑ .. I decided not to do anything.

The only idea on here I agree with is using a dye in the diesel and some good cameras or a bloody evil mean dog take your pick

Knew a bloke who had a boy racer problem on his dead end road
Hammered in some warratahs with them sticking out enough to rip off the engine sumps
Pulled them out in the morning, some big patches of oil

The locals knew so they didn't get hit
