Suzuki Jimny
i have been thinking of downgrading to i smaller 4x4 for a while now currently have a 3L petrol Terrano which is an over kill for me as i really never leave the park i live on and the way the Terrano drinks fuel it has put me off making the long drive to the places i like to hunt a number of times.
my Question for you guys is how much leg room is there in a Suzuki Jimny for a driver who is 6ft tall?

I just had a sit in a new one (sierra) on Tuesday.I was six foot before things went metric, lots of room.Saying that, the lectric winders hit the side of my knee. They didn't have the Jimny in the yard but it has armstrong winders.
I'm going from Hilux to small petrol, will see me out.

Anything would be cheaper to run than a V6 Terrano.
There's more room in a Jimny than you think (unless your 6ft5, then you'll look like an Great Dane humping a tennis ball :D )
They are nice wee 4wd and, with a bit of encouraging, they can be very good offroad.
There's lots of info/help for them at auszookers.com

I've had a couple of jimny's for both road and offroading.
They are comfortable enough for a 6fter.
Don't get the earlier engined ones, the later ones are much better and stronger (unless you run nitrous)

Prob with all the small trucks is you cant fit a hard gun box in them

Diahatsu Feroza may offer a little more size -Im only 5-4" plenty off space lol - still I can get a bit of kit in there but as Spanners says the big gun boxes are hard but then again I donrt use one of those to often - If I got the Diahatsu again it would be the fuel inject model as mine even though only a 1600 isnt light on gas either
