When buying a second hand vehicle

Took the canopy off my new ute and found this







Somebody had a really challenging time installing that canopy. I figured it was a installed by the dealer for the previous owner, the shitty workmanship suggests otherwise. It leaves me wondering what other dodgy shit has been done that I haven't found yet.

My ute cost an extra k above budget to cut out the rust that was hidden by the canopy on the roof of the cab

Still, it's better to know it now rather than have gear fail you out in the middle of nowhere..

Lesson learnt for me right there, take canopy off ute before handing over $...

Nah that looks about right.

That's exactly the standard the dealership provides, rough as fuck.

They'll be getting a phone call then.
