Build it 20 mtrs long, you know it will be filled with shit!!!!!!....'build it and it will be filled'........
A stabicraft 609 is 8.1 metres total length on its trailer from towbar to prop.
make sure you build it far to big as they would change a lot depending on transom and also draw bar length etc also weather you like to store with motor up or down
what you should do is build it to suit a 6m then any 5-5.5 will fit nicely my new 4.3 is almost double the size of my old 4.0m its amazing how much 0.3m changes the size of a boat
Allow 10m length for access round the whole thing. Anything smaller and one day you will back it in with the motor full up and tears will flow.
yep and id be going 6-7m wide as well for the same reason for storage room once you have a boat there will be a lot of crap to go with it I have my 4.3 m in a standard garage and very little room once the boat ride-on lawn mower pool table etc etc are in there as well
Pretty sure I have already screwed this up.
Shed I have ready to build has cost a fortune in quote already and that's 7.2x7m.

Hinge your towbar!
Better if you can slide one into the other, but rust will be a problem, hinged you can sort of flange it together
Probably save my shins a few times if I have it hinged☺

I just measured my 5.6 mcclay on toko trailer. It requires 7.2 m to fit tow bar to prop motor down.
What sort of sheds are you pricing R93? I happen to know a guy :ORLY: and am sort of in your neck of the woods. PM me if you like, could do you a kitset and come up for the weekend to show you how it goes together.
+1
The previous owner of our boat sleeved the draw bar on the trailer.
It helps to reduce the overall length and effectively immobilises it against left when it is removed.

Depending on what's behind your shed . Could do this too . Piece off piss if it's tin ? .
Na can't do that as it will be hard against a boundary fence.

They stop that shit at the boarder now ! Speights or montheths ?
I measured our SeaForce Fisherman 600 and from motor trimmed up to towbar IIRC it was 7.5m
Way to fucking cold for me to go outside and double check for you.
I should be right with some of the ideas on here.
Not looking forward to the cold tho!! I've been in 30+ for the last 3 weeks and am finding Brisbane cold at 24 at the moment.

Jesus, it was just about snowing in grey last night! 24* is cooking!
Should be, people were getting through about three this afternoon and said it was good.
Don't they fly you to Hoki international direct?
